2Wire's got a new mediastreamer, with a little bit of a twist; as well as all the usual features, it is only going to be sold bundled with certain ISPs broadband/cable internet packages. Interesting, you say! What features does this add? Well, it can definitely open up the possibilities to a lot of premium content available on demand, if the cabel companies can get TV producers to sign up to the idea....
Otherwise it's just your bog standard media streamer, hopefully set to be retailed at a bargain price due to the subsidization from the subscription to internet services.
Keep an eye out for it if you are looking to switch providers soon, it could be a nice extra!
