Wired Home General
by Phil Gerbyshak on July 6, 2007
Dubbed the 'Wired LivingHome,' wired magazine and Living Homes have teamed up to create an efficient green house. It's a 4057 sq foot house, scheduled to feature 4kws of solar power and energy efficient appliances from the likes of Hewlett Packard
It's be located in an exclusive part of Los Angelese called Crestwood hills. This $4 million home will feature green building materials, and should be ready by the fall of 2007. The house will be reconstructed from an existing house. Instead of being completely demolished, it'll be built from the existing home, resulting in less materials sent to the landfill.
Pretty darn cool house if you ask me!
