Calibrate Speakers with a Sound Meter

Since I'm pretty much tone deaf, I'm not too concerned about fine-tuning the speakers on my entertainment center. If you're one of those types that has to tweak those speakers, be sure to check out this hack at eCoustics.com:

Although the on-screen instructions on calibration DVDs [Hack #62] are clearly written, sometimes questions Ariselinks as to how to calibrate the audio portion of the system using the test patterns included on these discs. This hack deals with that process in detail, adding additional detail that is left off of many discs' instructions.
