Don't Shoot Me, I'm Just a Christmas Tree Gun!

Via the fine folks at Gizmodo comes this Christmas Tree Gun. No, it doesn't shoot Christmas trees silly! It helps you fix your Christmas tree lights by soldering the strands where there are shorts and makes your Christmas bright. Very cool.

I'm going to tell my wife about this, so we can get another year out of those $3 Christmas tree lights. You might want to let all YOUR friends know about this too, so they don't have to put together their whole tree just to find out there's one bulb they can't find burnt out and they have to pull the whole darn thing apart.
