Researchers from Nikki Chemical Co. and the Nagoya Institute of Technology have created a white florescent material that can be used to create a white light, and molded into different shapes. The compound is more energy efficient than your typical light bulb using half the power of florescent lights. It can also handle temperatures up to 500 degrees Celsius.
