Well, the Xbox 360 is almost here. There's still no official release date but the rumor is that it'll be around November 4th. According to PunchJump.com:
Microsoft confirmed to the Los Angeles Times today that the Xbox 360 would retail in two separate configurations, from $299 to $399.
The Xbox 360 Core System will include a wired controller sans a hard drive at $299, while the Xbox 360 premium edition will include a wireless controller, 20GB hard drive, headset, Ethernet cable, and wireless TV remote control at $399.
$399 for the loaded version seems like a pretty decent price point. What do you think?

I think it is. I have purchased this one last September. I'd say it's cool.
