More affordable wireless audio network from Sonos
Filed in archive Audio on January 4, 2006

Setting up Sonos' wireless audio network is simplicity itself. All you need to do is connect the first ZonePlayer to an existing home network using a standard ethernet cable. All the others will automatically extablish a network connection to it.
You need:
- PC or Mac (or network audio server)
- One or more Sonos Zoneplayers
- Sonos Controller
That's it. The ZP100 player has an amplifier built in, the new ZP80 is for those of us who already have an excess of amplifiers.
The controller can be used to control any ZonePlayer, playing the same song in several rooms, or different songs in every room.
