No Wii for me: Amazon makes promises it can’t keep

Check out the Amazon order page for the new Nintendo Wii. Can you say "Angry customers!"
If you were one of the folks who waited up all night to order your new Nintendo Wii (supposed to be available for order at midnight November 19th), you are sorely disappointed. What recourse do you have if you didn't get your Wii? Go to a traditional brick and mortar store to get your Wii? Buy one on Ebay? Or will you just wait to see if santa brings you one?

What aa lost opportunity for Amazon (when it has all those eager eyeballs) to not offer something extra for those who sign up for getting the product later – or some other way of apologizing for the situation. So happy to see savvy you here to guide is through the jungle of home gear

Definitely a lost opportunity for Amazon. I’m hoping they’ll find some way to take care of things for folks who wasted their time. Glad to be here sharing my passion and knowledge. Should be fun! Come back again soon!
