OLED TVs; will they bring connectivity?

OLED TVs are slowly coming onto the marketplace, but they are all small, expensive models as the technology is still in it's infancy. One does wonder though, by the time they come mainstream will there be a decent setup for real home wide connectivity? Why don't manufactures start packaging this with the high end OLEDs so it filters down to the market with them?
What I wouldn't give for a television with built in media player, so I didn't have to have a nasty looking box sitting on my shelf underneath... but no... the only way this will happen is if they start including them in new technology...so why not with OLED? Come on manufactures!
