The 50-inch Optoma RD50A DLP Rear-projection television (RPTV) has a great price point but has a few issues. According to the review at PCMag.com:
We found the RD50A's menu system among the worst we have ever seen. The display's default font size resulted in a picture-adjustment menu that takes up half of the screen, making it difficult to visualize how your changes affect the picture as a whole. The menu system is transparent, but that does not justify its size-or that all display adjustments are contained within a single page that does not minimize to the selected adjustment. There is an option in the service menu to reduce the font size from "double" to normal, but this should be in the standard menu, not hidden in the spot where it's typically accessed by calibration professionals. Menu navigation was also a disappointment, with the system pausing to catch up when issued repeated commands, such as scrolling through a long menu or changing inputs.

That's bad... I thought I could get good feedbacks to this one. I have been planning to buy the TV, but now I think I'll be looking for more options.
