Saving money for a wired home and thinking about payday loans

So each and every month we all dream of payday, waiting for that mystical time when cash makes it's way into our hands and we can buy all those gadgets we've lusted over for the previous 30 days, inevitably leaving us broke just before. Or.. if you really can't wait, you could even get advance payment with payday loans, which give you the money you need for a small fee, days or even a few weeks before your payday!

So what things do you plan to buy this month? I think I'm planning a little home automation upgrade for the system I've currently got installed. At present all my speakers, televisions, the like are all wired up to a central server which controls all of the feeds to them, but I have a serious power problem, with my bills going through the roof! So I think I'm gonna invest in a power management system to shut everything down at certain times of day in order to prevent me wasting tonnes of electricity.... So what about you?
