There's nothing like catching Junior's runny nose in High Definition. Sony has announced a consumer HD camcorder that comes in under $2000US. According to BetaNews.com:
Weighing only 1.5 pounds, the camera is also the smallest consumer HD camera to date. Although the camera and the battery are smaller, through power management enhancements Sony was able to allow for 90 minutes of recording time on a single charge.
The camera is supposed to be available in July. We'll keep you post when some images become available.
