In reality, most of us buy a TV by what we can afford, not necessarily by features. CNET.com has a really nice TV buying guide that breaks down these price ranges:
- Less than $300
- $300 to $500
- $500 to $750
- $750 to $1,000
- $1,000 to $1,500
- $1,500 to $3,000
- More than $3,000
