VUDU hits Blu-Ray

Filed in archive Digital Receivers on September 30, 2009

VUDU is a paid on demand video service seen on various digital devices that get hooked up to televisions, and it's just found it's way onto another odd one; a BluRay player, the LG BD390. Why does video on dmand need to be on an optical disc player? It just doesn't make sense to me at all. It suffers from all the normal VUDU downfalls, high prices, short rental times and often long download times, although the video quality goes some way towards making up for it.
