What the Heck: A One Handed Xbox Controller
Filed in archive Gaming Systems on December 3, 2006
Ben (What the) Heckendorn has done it again! He created a very cool one-handed Xbox 360 controller, per the request of a service member stationed in Iraq. You can view all the specs over at Ben Heck.com.
This baby has even got rumble, so it's a real, fully-functioning Xbox 360 controller for anyone wanting a 1-handed experience.
Something tells me Ben will be finding a way to patent this and sell it to the mass market (or someone else will) and it will be VERY popular! If not before year-end, then definitely before the end of 2007.

This is pretty cool! Doesn't Wii have this already? I prefer the original Atari controllers.

VideoGameNut: You're absolutely right. The Wii does have this already. It's cool to see it taken to other platforms though.
I too prefer the old Atari controllers. 1 button, 1 stick, quick, easy and simple. Now, there's a LOT more to know about.

This controller looks pretty cool, but if you haven't lost one hand, why should you use it?

If you have 2 hands, you might use this controller to multi-task with something else.
Though I would imagine the people that get the most use from this would be people with problems with 1 of their hands.
