Yahoo Starts Wii Community

Yahoo just launched a nice new non-corporate sponsored Wii portal, something many will applaud as simple, easy, and informative. Complete with a bar full of Flickr pictures, all the del.icio.us and MyWeb pages related to the Wii, and some Yahoo! Answers, this could be quite a boon for Yahoo! We'll see what it means for game players, as there doesn't seem to be much new content here, just a few articles in the lower left corner.

I'm not holding my breath, but I do hope that Yahoo! decides to have some of their experts do some reviews, provide links to buy the games and the system, and really aggregates some stuff. Why not include a Technorati search, or do a Yahoo! blog search?
