About me

As the author of this site, I thought you might like to know a bit about me.

My name is Dorri Williams and I have a lovely wife named Victoria and we have a daughter named Katie. We live in Salem, SC.

I spent ten years in the US Navy as a Nuclear Machinist Mate. I served on USS Alaska from 1996 to 2000. I was an instructor for the Navy in Ballston Spa, NY from 2000 to 2004 during which time I earned a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I currently work as a Nuclear Equipment Operator in Seneca, SC.

I also write for If it's got an engine . . . an automotive weblog.
